Chelsea must match Sergio Aguero’s huge £6.5million a year wages to land the Atletico Madrid ace.
Aguero, has been told he can leave Atletico in the January transfer window.
A deal like that would make him the third highest paid player at the club – behind John Terry and Frank Lampard.
In addition to the potential £30m transfer fee, his wages will be a huge outlay for a player who is ineligible for the Champions League.
