Amidst a disappointing season for the Bianconeri, the Juventus brass are preparing an overhaul of the team’s attack, with French striker David Trezeguet expected to leave in the summer. Juventus have an aging attack, lead by the legendary Alessandro Del Piero and out-of-form Amauri. Although Del Piero still shows flashes of brilliance, he will be 36 next season and cannot play on a regular basis. Amauri has yet to convince pundits that he is worth his hefty 20 million Euro value.

Reports on the penninsula suggest that Juventus are planning a bid for Sampdoria striker Gianpaolo Pazzini, although his price tag of 22 million Euros may be too much for The Old Lady. However, this price may well drop if a part exchange involving Juve startlets Seba Giovinco or Paolo De Ceglie was made, but Juve are unlikely to part with two of their most promising youngsters.

The other player on the Juventus wishlist is Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, but this may only be fantasy considering the large number of clubs reportedly interested in the Bosnian international.
