Rafael Benitez bolsters attacking options next season with Bosman signing of Serbia and Standard Liege forward. Liverpool are set to agree a pre-contract deal with Milan Jovanovic, the Standard Liege and Serbia striker .

Sky Sports News reports that the Merseyside club are close to a deal for the 28-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season and has been able to sign a pre-agreement with clubs from last month.

Rafael Benitez, the Liverpool manager, has stepped up his efforts to bolster his attack after failing to sign Sunderland’s Kenwyne Jones and has also been linked with a free signing in the summer of Marouane Chamakh, the Bordeaux and Morocco striker.
