Pastore has blossomed in Sicily and has the fans and club to thank for it.
Palermo’s 20 year old attacking midfielder Javier Pastore has become the target of many of Europe’s biggest clubs, after tremendous performances this season.
According to his agent, the Argentinian is happy to stay at Palermo and is unlikely to make a move this summer, although rumours have recently linked him with a move to Chelsea.
“He’s found his place in the world and he feels very much like a Sicilian at heart,” stated his agent. He is also a fan favourite and is unlikely to be greeted fondly if a move away from Palermo is made.
Pastore has recently been compared to Juventus and French great Michel Platini and is expected to be in the Argentinian set-up in South Africa this summer.
