22 year old Lazio striker Mauro Zarate has declared his desire to stay with the club, amidst rumours that he will leave.
The arrival of Coach Edy Reja has created controversy surrounding Zarate’s future at the club; however the player’s agent and brother Sergio Zarate has stated that any offers that come his way would be roundly rejected.
Zarate feels an affinity towards the Lazio supporters, and this has been cited as his main reason for his desire to stay faithful to the club.
The Qatari international has sparked interested from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
